Happy Diwali

Happy diwali to all. I am back home to celebrate diwali festival with my family. Having a good time in hostel. I am a captain of 2nd year engineering cricket team. College issued me a professional chess board to practice and register my name for various inter-college chess tournaments. College life / Hostel life is full of fun and enjoyment, getting many new things to learn with educational knowledge.

Now, I am at my home with my family, enjoying home made food and diwali sweets.
Wishing you all a very Happy and Safe Diwali.

PEEPLI LIVE

Peepli Live is a bollywood movie, which has been released recently. I have seen the promos of the movie and want to catch the movie very soon. The movie is based on Indian villages and farmers. As I am located in a town/city, I am less aware of the village life.

As per me India’s real wealth lies in its villages. Since it is an agricultural country, large number of population can be found in villages. Though Indian villages have not adopted to technological and mechanical advantages, the real love and humanity lies there only.

With its unique ‘Panchayati Raj System’ the villages in India hold a distinct position from rest of the word. Modern intervention has brought a lot of changes in the Indian villages. Today, one can see lots of schools and colleges being established along with continuous electric supply and medical facilities giving way to hope and development.

But, one of the major point of concern lies in the job sector. Apart from the practice of agriculture, hardly other occupation is available in the villages. This has discouraged the youths and as a result they are seeking better opportunities in the cities and towns. Most of the leaders of India have described India as a ‘village nation’, so they should try to give the villagers the same kind of opportunities as in the cities.

Therefore, “Jai Bharat, Jai Gao”.

Best wishes to ‘Peepli Live’.

Love.

A+

A+ is my blood group. Last week I tested my blood group, as blood group is often asked on all legal and formal forms. I was very scared to do the blood test because I am afraid of that sharp pin point needle, which will remove blood from my body.

There are 2 questions on formal forms:

  1. Blood Group.
  2. 2 Identification mark on your body.

These 2 questions are always irritating me while filling any form. Now I have the answer for blood group but I have only one identification mark on my body. I have a very small wound mark on or nearby my left eye, which is hardly visible from a closer distance. I got that injury when I was a kid.

My name starts with A and end with A, my blood group is also A. Easy to remember.

Fifa WC-2010

Fifa world cup 2010's fever is everywhere. Brazil and Argentina are the two best teams, these teams have a large no. of supporters. But both the teams can't make it till the semi-finals. NED vs Brazil was a very entertaining match, it was an elimination match played on 2nd July 2010, Brazil was leading 1st half with 1-0 but in 2nd half NED put the match in their pocket by scoring 2 goals. Arg vs Ger match, which was played on 3rd july 2010 Germany win the match with 4-0, perfect victory for Germany. Brazil and Argentina are out of the semi-finals.

Strange thing is that there is an octopus in Germany's museum, who do predictions for Germany's matches whether Germany will win the upcoming match or face a defeat, and the octopus is right everytime till now. Well, I watch fifa for entertainment and my favorite teams are Brazil, Germany and Argentina.

Fifa or 20-20 Cricket, which is more popular?
Tough question.
My Answer: 20-20 Cricket.

Fifa is also very popular because recently India win the the Asia cup against Sri-lanka, but that news was not given as much importance.

Want to see Germany winning the final match on 11 July 2010.

Everyone Is Happy

Today I am very happy. I am happy because my sister Ankita have got admission in VJTI college of engineering. To take the admission my dad and sister went to pune. She told me there are 6 autonomous colleges in maharashtra including VJTI, these 6 are the best colleges of engineering in maharashtra. These colleges are termed as autonomous college and the admission process for these colleges is different from normal engineering colleges.

My sister was selected in first round out of three admission rounds. She was invited to pune, as admission process is conducted in COEP college, which is in pune. She was given options that she can take admission in any one college out of the 6 colleges and for any engineering branch excluding 2 branches. She selected electrical engineering as she was interested in that field.

Today dad and Ankita visited pune and took admission in VJTI college of engineering. My parents and Ankita are very happy. My mother ordered me to take admission for direct second year of engineering. I am looking forward to do BE with AMIE.

Discrimination Is Worst

SSC and HSC results are out, students who have cleared the exam are glad and their parents are more excited then their children. Yesterday SSC results are declared, a girl in my neighborhood scored 96%, she and her parents are happy with her outstanding success. She stood first in her school and all the principal and teachers of her school came at her house to congratulate and encourage her.

They invited me and my family at their house. We were having a very good conversation. They have another daughter who is in SSC this year, her mother said that they are not expecting much marks from their second daughter, in front of her. I was a little bit upset and said that you should not under-estimate her. Then that aunty quickly said, that from now onwards she will not say it again. Many relatives are visiting their house and yesterday evening one local political party members came to congratulate her, will not name any. I will never understand politics.

This year my sister Ankita completed HSC (science), she scored 87% in HSC examination and 164/200 in MH-CET examination. She is happy but a little bit nervous, as she expected more marks in MH-CET. Two years back she scored 86% in her SSC. Due to her brilliant achievement, my mom is now on my back, she want me to take admission for direct second year of BE, as I am eligible.

I scored 70.26% in my SSC, my percentage was less because of one language in which I just scored 36/100. I completed engineering diploma in computer technology with 64%, at that time I was having 5 extra subjects as backlog, due to change in syllabus. I cleared everything and scored 64% and now I am doing AMIE.

Congarts..!! to Ankita, my neighbor Monika and all the students who have passed.

Rainy Season Begins

Yesterday I enjoyed the first rain of this year. People around me are very happy, because after a long duration of hot climate, we enjoyed some cool breezes and the climate is back to normal now.

Wishing, there should be a proper rainfall this year.
